Uploading your products to Clubhouse

How to upload your products to the e-commerce site or to the POS system for an in-store pop-up.

  • Select Upload CSV 
  • If you have a Shopify store, you can export your product CSV from your Shopify account. 
    • Navigate to your Shopify account > Products > Click Export > Select items to export > Select export as CSV file. More details on how to find this on Shopify can be found here
    • If you are on Wix e-commerce, this article explains how to export your products.
  • If you do not have a Shopify store, download the template CSV. This will show you the format required for the CSV import. Each column title and mandatory fields are displayed below.
  • Click Add file  > Upload Products 
  • Your products will upload onto the platform. You can close the pop-up and an email will be sent to you once the upload is complete. 
    • Error message: If the products do not upload you will see an error message on the RHS under 'Previous uploads & issues'  
    • Select arrow to view the columns that have errors. These will need to be updated in the csv and the product will need to be uploaded again. 
  • Once uploaded, click Submit to stores next to each item 
  • Toggle to Publish to the LDC store 
  • Publish to in store POS will only work if you are booked onto an existing activation 
  • Products will then be sent for approval by the LDC team
  • Once approved by the LDC team, the product status will update from Pending to Approved.

Import column listings 

Below is a breakdown of column requirements for the csv import. 

The mandatory fields: 


1. Handle

  • Description: A unique identifier for the product
  • Example: "blue-tshirt"

    2. Title
  • Description: The name of the product displayed to customers.
  • Example: "Blue T-Shirt"

    3. Body HTML
  • Description: Product description. 
  • Example: Pink cotton dress with blue buttons 

    4. Vendor
  • Description: The manufacturer or supplier of the product.
  • Example: "Nike"

    5. Product Category
  • Description: Defines the category the product belongs to.
  • Example: "Clothing > Shirts"


    6. Type
  • Description: The product's type or classification.
  • Example: "T-Shirt"


    8. Published
  • Description: Determines if the product is published or hidden.
  • Format: Boolean. "TRUE" or "FALSE".
  • Example: "TRUE"

    9. Option 1 Name
  • Description: Name of the first option/variant (e.g., size, colour). E.g. 4 variants of a T-Shirt - blue, green, red yellow.
  • Example: "T-shirt" 

    10. Option 1 Value
  • Description: Value for the first option (e.g., Small, Blue).
  • Example: "Blue"

    15. Variant SKU
  • Description: Stock Keeping Unit, a unique identifier for each variant.
  • Example: "TSHIRT-BLUE-S"

    16. Variant Grams
  • Description: Weight of the variant in grams.
  • Format: Numeric, whole numbers only.
  • Example: "250"

    17. Variant Inventory Tracker
  • Description: System used to track inventory (e.g., Shopify).
  • Format: Text or leave blank.
  • Example: "shopify"
     

    21. Variant Price
  • Description: The selling price of the product variant.
  • Format: Numeric, in currency format.
  • Example: "19.99"

    22. Variant Compare at Price
  • Description: The original price for comparison purposes (e.g., a sale price).
  • Format: Numeric, in currency format.

    23. Variant Requires Shipping
  • Description: Indicates whether the product requires shipping.
  • Format: Boolean. "TRUE" or "FALSE".

    26. Image Src
  • Description: URL of the product image.
  • Format: URL.
  • Example: "https://example.com/image1.jpg"

    42. Variant Weight Unit
  • Description: Unit of weight for the variant.
  • Format: "g", "kg", "oz", or "lb".
  • Example: "g"

    47. Status - Mandatory
  • Description: The status of the product (active or draft).
  • Format: "active" or "draft". Lowercase. 
  • Example: "active"
