How do I create a Shopify app for syncing my products, inventory & orders with LDC
Instructions on how to create a Shopify app & share permissions with LDC which enable syncing between your Shopify store & LDCs online store
Go to your Shopify store and follow these steps:
- Go to Settings
- Click “apps and sales channels”
- Click “Create an app” & add a name
- Click “Configure” > “Configure admin API scopes” and select “scopes” which are essentially the accesses granted to LDC by the brand. With the below we can access product, inventory & order info & update it on their side via API. We can provide full list of scopes required, but to summarise:
- Products scopes read & write
- Inventory scopes read & write
- Orders scopes read & write
- Apps scope read & write
- Fulfillment scopes read & write
- Click "Install app"
- Copy & paste the “token” aka password for API access & share with LDC
